Using
The main focus for the Arabian breed of horses is considered to be participating in various competitions. These are exhibitions and shows, smooth races at racetracks, distance runs. Animals can ride already from the age of 3 years, and from two tests on racetracks begin. Three times the Soviet “Arabs” won the “Prize of Europe”.

Today, in many Russian hippodromes, you can see the races on the eastern horses. All-Russian “Derby” is held at the Pyatigorsk Hippodrome. The best representatives of the “Arabs” are now bred in Tersk, Pyatigorsk and Moscow stud farms. They are also kept in private households.

“Arabs” are good at amateur riding, in unprofessional equestrian sports. They are also used for induction breeding in horse breeding in order to improve other sports horses. And breeding work is carried out to maintain and improve the quality of the breed, and to increase in growth.

To assess the agility of the horses, we give the exact numbers: they cover a kilometer in just a minute and 8 seconds, 50 km in an hour and 38 minutes. Individuals of both sexes overcome 100 km in 6 hours. “Arabs” show good speed and endurance even at distances of 160 km.

Features
The Arabian breed of horses throughout the world has become famous for its endurance and grace. Animals can run more than a hundred kilometers without stopping. The “Arabs” have excellent vitality and a sophisticated, strong physique. With good care, most of the pets live more than 30 years – the breed is considered a long-liver among horses. Mares, even in extreme old age, remain productive.

The horses perfectly adapt to different climate conditions and have taken root in many parts of the world. It is believed, however, that the glory of the breed is behind. This is caused by a partial mixing of blood. But even now the appearance of the “Arabs” in the photo cannot be confused with another. According to studies, the unique profile of the Arab thoroughbred horse appeared due to the skeleton device. In terms of parameters, it differs from other breeds. The Arabs have 5 lumbar and 16 caudal vertebrae, as well as 17 ribs. The remaining horses have these numbers: 6, 18 and 18, respectively.

Character
The Arabian breed of horses is unpretentious in breeding and keeping. Horses rarely get sick and calmly tolerate both cold and heat. The kindness of the horses is kind, obedient. Sometimes proud individuals come across, especially those that have little contact with a person in his youth. Of great importance when dressing are animal movements: very clear and light.

Desert horses are perfectly oriented on the ground. It was noted that pets have developed memory. With due care, they are imbued with complete trust in the owner and people close to him.

Young foals are constantly trained and tested at racetracks. Horse performance is good. But it should be remembered that, like any other sports horses, “Arabs” deserve not only exhaustion by regular training, but also care and affection from the owner.

Russian “Arabs” are considered the most efficient, both in sports and in households. These animals can be safely used in harnesses – this breed of horses is suitable for various agricultural work of medium difficulty. However, the cost of animals is quite high, it pays off mainly with prizes at competitions. They recommend using it exclusively in equestrian sports.
