Lippitsian horse
Lipitsian (Lipitsan, Lipisan) – a breed of horse-harnessed horses. Growth about 147-157 centimeters, have a light gray color. They have high ability to learn complex tricks with a massive body.
The breed was bred in the 16-17 centuries. in the village of Lipitsa, which is why it was named. The breed is associated with the old Viennese Spanish riding school.

OSSETIAN ROCK HORSE (part 4)
The high level of development of horse breeding among the Alans is evidenced by archeological data and written sources. Thus, an excellent Alanian horse is reported by an anonymous Armenian author of the 9th century (according to other sources – the 11th century), referred to by some researchers as the Pseudo-Shapuh Bagratuni. In his work, he presents Alanya as a country in which there are many “noble horses” [7, p. 76]. Probably, noble horses are understood as purebred Alanian riding horses, distinguished by purity of blood and superior to other breeds by a combination of qualities necessary for a good riding horse.
Seljuk Sultans, who captured vast territories in the Middle East during the pre-Mongol period, were true admirers and deep connoisseurs of riding horses. Of all the known horse breeds, they usually chose between horses brought from Hungary or the Caucasus. Eastern authors call Caucasian horses “Tavlinsky” [4, p. 56]. Continue reading
Russian heavy truck is an excellent muscular horse
Representatives of this breed are quite frisky and small in comparison with other heavy trucks. Horses have a muscular body, a medium-sized head with a straight profile. The animals have a thick mane, and there are also brushes on the limbs. The horses’ neck is wide, short and fleshy, the back is soft, the lower back is even and powerful. Croup – bifurcated, with a normal slope and width. The color of the breed is usually red-roan, bay, and only occasionally – black individuals. Modern representatives reach 150 cm at the withers. The average chest circumference is 184 cm, the oblique length is 154 cm, and the metacarpal circumference is 21 cm. The mass of males is up to 700 kg, females up to 600 kg.
